85 percent students are against Cursive

Cursive is called “joined-up” writing in the UK and “running writing” in Australia. Cursive is taught by most of the majority of elementary school teachers. In many schools there is no need of teaching cursive as much as they used to. Most of the people think that cursive writing is a dying art.

It is basically used for signatures and thank you notes. Some people think that this style of writing is more fluid and quicker than printing. Furthermore, many historical documents (like the Declaration of Independence) were written in cursive. The lovers of cursive argue that it is more presentable and attractive writing style. But 85% college going students are against this writing style and said teaching cursive is just the wastage of time and skills.
