An American Killed on the Mexican side of Falcon Lake, Texas

A Texas sheriff has asked for the support of Mexican government bodies to locate the body of American traveler David Michael Hartley, who was assumed shot in the backside of the head on Falcon Lake Thursday after being ensnared by armed boaters.

Texas Parks & Wildlife Department spokesperson Mike Cox said Friday that respective authorities carried on looking for the U.S. section of the entertainment place, about 60 miles south of Laredo, for the 30-year-old man.

Hartley and his spouse, Tiffany, were driving private waterboats returning from Mexico on the lake about 2:45 p.m. Thursday when around 6 gunmen got into contact with in 2 boats and started firing, said Zapata County Sheriff Sigifredo Gonzalez.
