Another Day Of Testing for Scientists At Gulf
Scientists were given a extra day to test the cap placed over the geyser to stop the leakage of crude oil. Initially when the cap was placed, 48 hours of testing time was given to see if anything happens. In last three days of observing, scientists haven’t seen anything doubtful and the government is getting more confident about the situation.
“Everybody has been so worried about it blowing,” said Willianet Barksdale, a security guard on the public beach at Gulf Shores. But looks like this is the end of oil spilling and this is over for now. The trial time was started on Thursday to Saturday and is now extended to the afternoon of Sunday.
People were fishing when the waters in Louisiana were released again later this week. People were happy with this new trial, which looks like permanent.
