AntiBodies That Protect From AIDS Viruses

Immune systems Proteins are made in some people after they are infected with AIDS virus.If a Vaccine is properly designed,then it might help the body to recover sooner.
There are two antibodies that can attach and even neutralize 90 per cent of the mutations that can cause to AIDS virus.
Around 33million of people are infected globally,survey by UNAIDS.Since the pandemic began in early 1980s,it has killed around 25million people.There are no drugs and vaccine that can cure it but are some drugs which can help control it.
It’s almost impossible to prepare a vaccine that could affect AIDS virus.In last September,researchers reported with a vaccine that can slow the rate of infection by 30 per cent.
Researchers are now looking for the parts that do not mutate so that they can prepare vaccines for them.Nabel’s team was able to find two anti bodies in a patients bllod who was infected by HIV and was not ill.These people are known as non-progessors and researchers study on their immune system.
In their research they found B-cells which was responsible for making of these particular bodies.
If the researchers are able to see how these bodies look like,they will be able to design a vaccine for the same.
