Boise State vs. Virginia Tech featured plenty of prospects
Boise State was able to tak a lead of 10-0 with two big plays in the opening minutes of the game Monday night against No. 10 Virginia Tech. Late in the first quarter, the Broncos tacked another touchdown to go up 17-0.
In the second quarter, quarterback Tyrod Taylor rallied the Hokies for its first score.
The two early plays acted like a turnovers by the Hokies. The first one was a fumble on first offensive play and the second one was just four seconds into the game.
At 12.44 Kyle Brotzman fielded a goal for the Boise State and at 9:48 Kellen Moore touchdown to Austin Pettis.
There was another mistake in the second TD of the Broncos. They got the ball, forced to punt, when a player from Hokies ran into the punter and he committed a foul downfield. Well, it ended with a touchdown pass to two-yard away Tommy Gallarda when the quarter was left with just 71 seconds.
The second quarted started with down 17-0 and finally the Virginia Tech found some spark on offense.
The two teams played in Landover, Md.
