Boys Hope Girls Hope- a home makeover program

When you will be watching the season premiere of “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” tonight, you’ll get to know a bit about Boys Hope Girls Hope. The international program, began by a St. Louis priest more than 30 years ago to help students who ages 10-14 and have huge academic potential to succeed regardless of family or personal sufferings.
Boys Hope Girls Hope staff and volunteers give monetary and emotional support in a group home and keep on supporting and challenging them during college education. You can check out the results which is being circulated in 16 U.S. cities plus two foreign countries.
The home makeover crew will pay more attention on the residential program for girls in Baltimore, —Phoenix’s housing program will support eight boys as well as eight girls at a time in addition to a community-based outreach — the organization’s first — helping 29 brilliant scholars.
