Brooke Shields reveals breaking her hand during a practice

Brooke Shields, an American actress, reveals that she has broken her hand while she was rehearsing her part as an all-dancing and all-singing waitress in August in ‘Leap of Faith’, a Steve Martin film’s stage adaptation in Los Angeles.

The actress said in an interview that she broke her hand while rehearsing. She said that she plays a waitress who shouts danger and there was a scene where she kicks over a chair and does the whole dancing and it was really a very heavy chair so it kind of bent her finger over all the way back.

Brooke said that she, however, never sought a medical attention till weeks after the incident because the actress didn’t wish to be conceived ‘high maintenance’ for complaining about the pain she had.

She said that she doesn’t like being considered ‘high maintenance’ so she just said that she’s going to be fine with it and she’s fine.

The actress added that she was walking around with it for around 2-3 weeks in extreme pain because she didn’t want to be high maintenance. However, she finally went in to the hospital for a treatment and she just got cast off this day.
