Carissa Moore Wins US Open of Surfing
Hawaii’s Carissa Moore defeats Australia’s Sally Fitzgibbons in the final of the U.S. Open of Surfing at Huntington Beach Pier and took out $50,000, the richest first place prize reward in women’s surfing history. The young talented natural footer Moore was beyond belief with her achievement.
Moore is only 17 and an ASP Women’s World Tour rookie currently ranked No. 8. Her fans have lot of expectations from her and they wanted her to win the world title early in her career. It was amazing for Moore to win this US Open of Surfing. She said that final went so fast and she wanted to do more surfing.
