Claire Danes wins the Emmy award for best lead actress

Claire Danes has won the Emmy 2010 for the best lead actress in a mini TV series or movie. She won the award for acting in HBO’s Temple Grandin. It was a wonderful story about the personal life of an agricultural scientist who has been fighting with the disease Austin since her childhood. The director of the movie has said that he got inspired from her life as his own child is suffering from the disease Austin.
The TV movie also grabbed the award for best directing and Mick Jackson was lucky enough to get this prestigious award. The central character of the movie was quite inspiring as she was willing to fight with the disease. She started working on it when people were not aware of it.
