Dinah Shore lives in the hearts of her fans

Not many people are aware of the fact that the beautiful American actress, Dinah Shore’s original name is Frances Rose Shore. She was born in 1916 and reached the pinnacle of her career in the 1940’s. The added advantage over the other actresses Dinah possessed was her ability to sing.

This brought her great fame as a singer and she is said to have performed her auditions on her own. During the initial days of her career, Dinah is said to have been in a lot of problems after she had to face rejections. One of her best songs ever, was ‘shoo fly pie and apple pan dowdy’ was considered to be the most famous song of 1948.
