Discovery channel held hostage by a gunman

It was a scary day at the headquarters of the Discovery Channel in Maryland where an armed man was holding hostages of the channel staff. Finally, the police arrived and took control of the scene and the gunman was shot dead by the police after hours of gun battle. As bullets were flying off between the gunman and the police, most staff at the headquarters got scary for obvious reasons and remained confined to their rooms. The suspect was known as James Lee and investigations have revealed that he had a history of run-ins and rants against the cable and the television giant.
In the past also, these television channels have come under attack. Take the case of post 9/11 anthrax scare which affected the Manhattan offices of ABC, NBC and CBS. Then the cases of Pat Robertson Letter Bomb, The CBS Gunman, The CNBC Blackout, Planet Hollywood Explosion are still fresh in the minds of the people.
