ECOLOGISTS ASK THE EU TO REFRAMES THE USE OF BIOMASS

Ecologists in Action have asked for to the European Union the revision of the use of biomass in their fight against the climatic change in the light of new studies that reveal the loop hole in European policy of controlling the CO2 emissions. In addition, obligatory measures are demanded, by law, for the reduction of the plastic bags.
Thus, Ecologists in Action emphasize the two new studies that question the controlling of CO2 emissions with the burning of fossil fuels. According to the EU policy framework, the directive of Renewable Energy demands the efficient use combustion fuel that means saving at least the 35 percent (50% as of 2017) of carbon emissions, in relation to which it would emit fossil fuels.
But the consequences of this policy results in more global heating, loss of biodiversity, diminution of forest masses, or of carbon captured in grounds, and infringement of human rights.
The demolishing conclusion revealed by Ecologists in Action is that in the majority of the cultures established in EU, the controlling of emissions is not satisfied as there are industries which are held responsible for emitting CO2 in huge quantity.
