Firemen fail to control the San Bruno fire

A large explosion occurred in a gas pipeline in the San Bruno area near San Francisco airport. This resulted in a huge San Bruno fire and the explosion occurred behind the Church. A strong wind is taking the flames out of control and fire crews from the neighboring cities and agencies are responding to bring the rage to control. The fire has left nine people burnt and destroyed a few properties. The homes around the area of fire are under danger.
Authorities have sent four air tankers, 2 small attack planes and 25 fire engines from California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection. Some off-duty firefighters have also been pressed into service. These men, without any protective gear, are also trying their level best to put off the blaze.
Residents staying in the area said that they felt a huge earthquake like feeling when the explosion took place. The heat from the blaze is so intense that it can be felt from a few blocks away.
