George Karl Receives a Special ESPY Award

George Karl receives a special ESPY award for fighting bravely against cancer. George Karl is the head coach of Denver Nuggets. The award he got was been named as Jimmy V comeback award. He missed games at the end of last season due to this disease that hit upon him. This was his fourth battle with the disease, which he fought with full courage. He thanked and presented his gratitude to his family for the help and support of his family. He said that he has gone through five months of treatment and his family has been in full support with him.

Karl also shared the disease of his son who has two bouts of thyroid cancer. He also appreciated the cure that is available these days for this dangerous disease. He admitted that America was not aware of the disease as much it should have been. He said that a great teamwork is going to cure the disease but this would not be enough to conquer the disease. He said that a national program is been needed to conquer the disease, which still does not have a sure shot cure.
