Google balls-what are they?

Google has been greatly in news off late owing to different reasons. The new Google doodle that has started the inclusion of the most important events for the day has made Google more close to the lives of the people as they now feel more connected with it. The doodle for today is said top be the bouncing balls. There has been a lot of curiosity created by these balls in the minds of the people as they wonder what they symbolize.
Some of the people are under the misconception that these balls are the symbolic of the birthday of Google. However, this is not the truth. Google has been connecting the date September 7th to its birthday and this was the case till the year 2005.The trend has now changed and the birthday is celebrated as September 27th.People are also wondering if these balls have to do anything with the Bucky ball concept that was a part of the doodle a few days back.
