Lady Gaga’s Alejandro Crash Lands Her Website
It has been 3 months since Lady Gaga’s nine-minute video for Telephone. Since then fans waited to anxiously to see what her follow-up will hold. Her website started a countdown to her new video’s release, which ultimately lead to her website crashing when the music video was launched at 5pm today, mainly due to the huge demand in visitors flocking to her website to watch the video.
Since the teaser for the video has been released, many have asked if her new video would be appropriate for her fan base. The teaser promised homage to Madonna’s Vogue, but took things too far with sacrilegious imagery, militaristic wardrobe and a lot of simulated sex. Nobody, however, expected anything less from Lady Gaga, and in fact it is indeed the ‘Lady Gaga’ her millions of fans from around came to know and acknowledge.
In a recent interview, Lady Gaga said that the new song reflects her relationship with her gay friends and that it is a ‘celebration and an admiration of gay love’. Lady Gaga added that the song confesses her envy of the courage and bravery they require to be together.
Although her website came to a crashing stand-still due to massive number of fans wanting to see the video, it is quite clear that Internet search engines are working ‘over-time’ for fans franticly looking for an online source where the video can be viewed.
