Leo Apotheker will be future CEO in HP

HP has declared the name of Leo Apotheker as the CEO.
Apotheker was the CEO of SAP till the last February. But after that he resigned from the post as SAP decided not to renew his contract.
Apotheker was just exclusively in charge of SAP for 7 months. (He was the co-CEO for a year ago. He was associated with SAP for 20 years.
This is an astonishing move from HP, as the majority people thought HP would hire from within.
Specifically, Todd Bradley, who is head of the mobile and PC division, was seen as the prospective name.
In the release declaring the recruitment, HP said Apotheker, “transformed R&D and technology platforms and expanded business models and customer segments,” at SAP. Apotheker was appointed in sales at SAP.
Apotheker’s short period as the boss at SAP did not draw rave reviews, but he may have created a bad situation. He took over just behind the recession was at a low position.
