Lindsay Lohan is late at court

Lindsay Lohan doesn’t seem to be on time for her Beverly Hills court appearance. Her dad, Michael, has already arrived, reports CNN. But she is late for her 8:30 a.m. PT arrival.

“Hopefully she didn’t make a Starbucks run,” cracked legal analyst Debra Opri on CNN. Syndicated radio host Carlos Diaz said, “There is no excuse for this. None!”

UPDATE: 8:37 a.m. PT: A black SUV has arrived and there she is! Someone threw confetti on the actress as she made her way through the media frenzy outside the courthouse. Mom Dina is nearby.

UPDATE: 8:42 a.m.: Lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley is speaking for Lindsay in court, saying Robert Shapiro was a “consultant” on the case.

UPDATE: 8:45 a.m.: The judge talked about Lindsay entering a rehab program within 24 hours of getting out of jail. As Lohan was remanded into custody at 8:46 a.m. the cameras were ordered to be shut off. Lohan said nothing. Opri noted the “judge showed great compassion for ordering the cameras off” as the handcuffs were going on.

According to People, as she left, her father said, “We love you, Lindsay.”
