Mary Louise Parker plays an unusual role in ‘RED’

Mary Louise Parker, the star of ‘RED’ was seen making a splendid entry to the movie’s premiere. The actress, who was the lead in the movie Weeds, was seen sporting a black satin dress, which made her look demure and classically beautiful. To pair it up with the dress, she was having a purple clutch and a single choker necklace studded with what seems like rubies to us. Pardon us; if they are just another set of red gemstones, but then, the necklace serve to be the apt promotional etiquette for the movie’s premiere now that the movie is named ‘RED’.

The movie has her playing Sarah opposite Will Smith’s ex-CIA assassin Frank. The movie also has stalwarts of Hollywood like Morgan Freeman, Helen Mirren, John Malkovich and Brian Cox. Incidentally, Parker has been regularly switching between her assignments on small and big screens. She does that with ease and she admits she would rather enjoy a little bit more of this Hollywood stardom and power than she usually does. She smirked while saying she isn’t generally given such roles as the one in ‘RED’.
