Members of Tony Alamo Church sue other members

In Federal court, a recent lawsuit filed, is of the former Tony AlamoTony Alamo’s church members, who have sued some church members, business and activities.

Tony Alamo’s Church’s former 6 members are behind the new lawsuit. It stated that it was in the knowledge of the members that he sexually abused innocent children. Moreover, the lawsuit said, steps were not taken in stopping the shameful act.

The 6 members have asked $150,000 per claimant in the lawsuit as compensation to the trauma, both mental and physical, that they had faced in the past. The lawsuit also said that any expenses of medical or mental torment is to be paid by these church members and also by the the business keepers.

In November 2009 Alamo was sentenced to 175 years of prison. He was then 75-year-old. He was the founder of the Tony Alamo Christian Ministries. He was found guilty for transporting, across borders, young/minor girls for sexual relationships.
