Molly Ringwald gets back to the glorious yesteryears of 1980s

Molly Kathleen Ringwald, a singer, dancer and actress by profession is an American by birth. She was born on 18 February 1968 in Roseville, in the state of California. She became famous and popular through her roles in movies like ‘Sixteen Candles’ (the year of release 1984), ‘The Breakfast Club’ (year 1985) and ‘Pretty in Pink’ (year 1986). All of these are supposedly John Hughes movies.

In most of her movies, like ‘Sixteen Candles’ and ‘Pretty in Pink’, Molly has portrayed like an outcast, somebody who actually did not fit but was just put, the ugly duckling who was smart by her standards but awkward when it came to somebody. However, the story always ended in the fairytale idea of ‘live happily ever after’ in the high schools but they also had a heart break first.

Molly has penned down a book stating whatever has happened with her after those glorious days of 1980s. The book ‘Getting the Pretty Back: Friendship, Family and Finding the perfect Lipstick’, would be autographed by Molly herself at Vroman’s on July 28^th. The book basically is a reminder that prettiness is not creams or lipsticks but is one’s attitude. It is more of life after the years spent at high school, the personal grooming, the style, healthy living, motherhood and everlasting friendship.
