Myanmar Landslide Increases Death Toll
Days of flooding and landslides killed more than 60 people and more than 15,000 families suffered in Myanmar. Floods and landslide were triggered by torrential rains which wiped out the homes, schools and bridges in many areas. And death toll increased to 63 according to UN.
Villagers are returning to home through steep hills where there is more chance of landslide, so this may increase the death toll. Military and humanitarian groups are aiding he people in Myanmar. They are providing clothing, medicine, household utensils, food and cash for the victims.
Many victims were allowed to stay at schools, since the rain did not seem to stop which started on 13th June.
