“Outsourced” TV show review
“Outsourced” TV show review-‘Outsourced’, is the new comedy show aired on NBC. The show stands out from the other shows which go before it. Subsequent to the “Community,” “30 Rock” and “The Office,” the series as it’s work outline for it. It’s like to being a band having its first appearance after the crowd being warmed up by Elvis, The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. So, basically, for that program, it’s either create something of equal excellence, or get shafted out of subsistence.
Watching the debut of the show, it looks as if as if the show is set to be outsourced to the trash bin. In spite of having a good cast, like Ben Rappaport, Diedrich Bader, Anisha Nagarajan or Rebecca Hazlewood the show falls flat and could not succeed in many areas, from it’s awfully poor jokes to the terrible job of simulating Mumbai and a call centre there.

The next sitcom NBC is planning is “A Little Lust” a sitcom about child prostitution.
In a terrible economy, most Americans are not going to laugh at a comedy about their jobs being sent overseas. What were the NBC executives thinking ?
I watched the pilot episode and I believe the best term to describe my reaction is embarrassed. The jokes were cheap and obvious. Some of the material is just downright mean. There is NO WAY I could become a fan of this offering.

“Thanks you for this honor/inconvenience” I don’t get it. I loved Parks and Recreation but I think this is equally good (at least) or better.
I’ve heard so many people being offended by this show so naturally, i wanted to see what the buzz was about. I was LMAO from beginning to end of every episode and wondered if I was being an ugly person. So I asked both my Indian and WASP co-workers to watch it and let me know what they thought. All of them came back laughing and reciting lines word for word and did not find anything offensive. All of us come from well-educated backgrounds when it comes to international culture and history which is why we understand the jokes from both sides. Many people who know only the American side of the jokes (meaning laughing at Indians), don’t find it funny because they don’t understand why Indians find American odds in certain ways.
I’d say keep the show not just because it’s witty, funny but it does a great job of educating and raising awareness on international business and it’s communication and cultural exchange challenges.
This show is taken from a movie with the same name. I think the producers are looking for the target audience who like “little Mosque on the praires” . The producers should look at pointing out some good points on India instead of dumping on it in order to get a fan base. The comic timing is off and weak at best but so was the movie
