Paul Henri Mathieu got out of the German Open after the first round
Paul Henri Mathieu is a tennis player of France who was born on 12th of January
in the year of 1982 in Strasbourg, France. From the age of 3 he began playing
tennis. He used to play with his elder brother, Pierre-Yves, at that age.
Paul Henri Mathieu took training from the Nick Bollettieri Tennis
Academy which is in Bradenton, Florida from 1997 to the millennium year, 2000.
By winning against Tommy Robredo, he earned the title of Junior at the French
Open. He joined the ATP tour that was held in Kitzbühel in July 2000 for the first
time.
The year 2002 proved to be a breakthrough year for Paul Henri Mathieu. He won
the award of the ATP Newcomer of the Year that year. In the year 2005, in the
ATP Masters Series, he made his best records so far.
Unfortunately Paul Henri Mathieu got out of the German Open after the round
one. Even though he was the runner up last year, he failed to qualify for the Pere
Riba. He has been losing the eight times of out his nine tournaments by 1-6 6-0 6-
3, losing his 12th position and getting ahead towards the 50th place.
