Real Madrid Vs Ajax 4-0 Champions League Highlights-Madrid Advances Through The Next Stages

Match-day 5 of the Champions League has ended and the first team to advance through the next stages are the Spanish powerhouses Real Madrid after defeating Ajax with a scoreboard of 4-0 and Ajax just couldn’t keep up with Jose Mourinho’s squad.

Ajax was desperate for a win if they wanted to maintain the pace of Real Madrid and the Italian Ac.Milan but everything just crashed down for them as C.Ronaldo and Mesut Oezil simply ripped apart their defence over and over again. The first one that had a clear chance of scoring was the Frenchman Karim Benzema but Maarten Stekelenburg was there to deny any strike from Benzema.

The home side Ajax did manage to go upfront and try their luck on Madrid’s defence as both Luis Suarez and El Hamdaoui attempted to penetrate the back-line of Madrid but failed to do so. And throughout the match Ajax were attacking more each time with more men and Madrid took advantage of this and counterattacked with Pedro Leon but it wasn’t until a free kick of Xabi Alonso that went over to Oezil and the German with a back-heel placed the ball over to Benzema who scored the first goal of the match.

Real Madrid has now taken the lead after Karim Benzema’s goal but it would only be 10 minutes that Madrid scored again this time it was C.Ronaldo that sliced a ball from over 30 yards and it bounced off Arbeloa that folled completely Stekelenburg and it went into the net just after the break.

With the first half over Real Madrid continued their domination on the pitch with Mesut Oezil orchestrating the midfield and C.Ronaldo attacking without mercy it was just a matter of time that they would score again.  And it arrived with the substitute Angel Di Maria when he intercepted a pass from the opposition and rolled the ball over to C.Ronaldo who finally managed to score his first goal in this match.

At the finally minutes of the match C.Ronaldo was going to find the net again, after being brought down to the ground in the penalty area the referee made no hesitation in awarding the penalty and so the Portuguese C.Ronaldo stepped up and took the penalty smashing it behind the goalkeeper and ending the match 4-0.

With this result Real Madrid advance through the next stages of the Champions League and Ajax cant go any further.
