As published in the recent and the latest news straight from Miami, Bobby Valentine is moving quite close to a deal with Florida Marlins. Valentine is now looking forward to go back to the main leagues as the manager being it for the first time ever since he left New York Mets in the year 2002. He spoke yet again to the Marlins lately on Friday that is today, 25th of June 2010. These talks were finally confirmed by some middle person who was involved with the negotiations as he spoke on the condition of anonymity.
Also, this Wednesday after many hours since firing Fredi Gonzalez as the manager it was later seen that Marlins president who is Mr. David Samson said that the team is basically targeting Valentine being one of its several candidates. The news came direct from Miami. The Marlins are the ones basically playing the Mets in a game series of three matches in San Juan which starts this Monday. Whereas Rodrigues was hoping to be in the dugout of that particular trip and this is now too counted as the home games for Florida.
