Rich Cronin Died At Just 35 years from Leukemia
Rich Cronin, the LFO lead singer, lost the battle with Leukemia – Rich Cronin, the leader of the once popular boy band LFO, went to a better place today after a long period of illness.
Rich Cronin from Kingston, Massachusetts, aged only 35-year-old, suffered from leukemia for a long time. After suffering a stroke, he died in a hospital, a relative said to TMZ.
Cronin was the lead singer and main songwriter for LFO boy band, which had the biggest success when one of their singles, Summer Girls, reached No. 1 on the Billboard charts in 1999 and remained there for six weeks.
He find out about in 2005 that he has acute myelogenous leukemia and started the Rich Cronin Hope Foundation in order to spread awareness of the disease and help other people in the same condition.
Even with so many problems, Cronin tried to reunite the band which announced a comeback last year, however several months later they declared they had broken up.
One of his friends, Lance Bass, from ‘N Sync, was among the people bringing tributes to Cronin overnight.
“Sad sad day that Rich Cronin died – was a amazing guy,” he posted on Twitter.
