Its interesting to note comments on alleged racism committed by a specific ethnic class from somebody whose roots go to a country where racism and casteism have killed hundreds of thousands and continues to do so even now. There is even a new variety now – honor killing !

No country, no society, no ethnic class is perfect …but some countries and some societies take it to extreme. That’s not an example to follow.

What these two kids did was totally and unambiguously reprehensible. In a society where more lawyers are produced than engineers or doctors, they might well escape the punishment they deserve – and that would be a tragedy…as much as the loss of life.
