Super Harvest Moon Tonight

Tonight a rare event will occur that hasn’t happened for approximately 20 years – a harvest moon. This is when the sun is setting over the horizon while the full Moon is rising over the opposite side.
The Moon will look even bigger than usual due to a phenomenon known as the Moon illusion.
If you want to watch this spectacular event, you don’t need anything special except a view of the east and west horizons.
The sky will look stunning as the sun and Moon combine to light the earth from 360 degrees, especially because it is a full Moon.
In addition to this spectacular event, at 11:09pm Eastern Time, Jupiter will be right next to the moon and visible with the naked eye.
