Daniel Ellsberg in 1970 leaked the pentagon papers in order to attain the top-secret details and info regarding the Vietnam War. WikiLeaks.org is the new, potent and a controversial website for the whistle-blowing. This venue is probably the best, when all other ways to leak the information are ceased. The WikiLeaks, is a good alternative to the other ancient methods of publicizing the sensitive government information. This nonprofit able site, WikiLeaks is quickly replacing the older ways of leaking the private official information and is rapidly growing as one of the web’s go-to locations for the whistle-blowers government officials. However, the site has gained rave reviews and is being referred to as the beacon of free speech where as some consider it a threat to the security of the nation and criticize it. It was in the April, when a 2007 video was posted in the website showcasing the U.S. helicopter attacking the Iraq and leading to the death of a dozen civilians, which helped the site achieve massive popularity.
